Day 1: Forgive Yourself and Others

Hello all, today I would like to talk about forgiveness. A common word but it’s not a common action. Forgiveness is letting go of the harm another person or yourself did. It requires a lot of patience and doesn’t happen overnight. To forgive others and yourself is to evolve into someone better. Let go of all resentments and negativity, and watch how your life will become easier and lighter. 🙂

Day 2: Love Yourself

Hello all, today I would like to talk about love. What in the world is love??Love is an action, an experience, a word. Love is complicated, but all I know is love YOURSELF. If you’re worried about not finding the right person, STOP WORRYING! The right person will always come along. That person might show up when you least expect it. Everyone longs for this, but first, take a look inside. Do you feel good? Are you content with your current position in life? If not, then it’s time to take action! There is no longer any time to mope around and complain about anything anymore. This is the era of doing, so do try your best in everything that you do and do try to make yourself feel loved. We all deserve it. 🙂

Day 3: Trust the Signs

Hello all, today I would like to talk about signs. There are signs everywhere for everybody. Many people look for signs when sometimes, they’re right in their faces. Signs can be good or bad. If you have doubts about a friend or lover and you see signs that the person may not be good for you, trust those signs. If you’re feeling anxious about getting a new job or getting into a new relationship with a genuine person but the signs are showing you to go for it, then go for it! Once you overcome that fear that something other than what you want is going to happen, everything that you want to happen will happen. So, trust the signs! You’ll be just fine! 🙂

Day 4: Meditation

Hello all, today will be about meditation. What is meditation? It is a practice that individuals use to put their minds at ease. Everybody, and I mean everybody, is going through something in their lives. Many of these things may cause the person stress, worry, anxiety, and so on. People turn to a lot of things to help them with these problems: drugs, alcohol, sex, etc. What if there was another effective way to lose the stress without having to harm your bodies in the process? Well, there is and it’s called meditation. The best part about it? IT’S FREE! All you need is you, a comfortable place to sit in, and quiet. Take deep breaths and let the tensions go with every exhale. The mind will wonder off and have a million thoughts running through it, but that’s normal and okay. Focus on your breathing and you will feel great. Something as small as five minutes a day of meditation can go a long way. So, what are you waiting for? Let’s meditate! 🙂

Day 5: Quit Making Excuses!

Welcome back, beautiful people! Have you ever wanted to do something but a list of why you shouldn’t run through your head? Those are called excuses. They serve no other purpose other than to keep you from progressing. Have you ever been in a situation where someone asks you for the reason why you stagnate on certain things and when you tell them, their facial expression seems unamused? There’s a quote from the actor and singer, Tyrese Gibson, that says “Excuses sound best to the person that’s making ‘em up!” This is very true, because in reality, no excuse is excusable. You want to start going to the gym? Just go! You want to look for another job because your current one sucks? Just do it (like Nike)! Sometimes, the only person that stands in the way of us progressing is ourselves. Don’t think too much about what you need to do to succeed and just go for it. Otherwise, before you even know it, you would have been sitting on the couch for an hour thinking of why you shouldn’t do this or that when you could have spent that hour doing what you wanted to do. A millionaire and an average civilian have the same exact 24 hours in a day. The only difference is what you do within those 24 hours. Like Pablo Picasso said, “Action is the foundational key to all success.” So, what are you waiting for? Start doing what you always wanted to do! 😊

Day 6: Smile More!

Welcome back, beautiful people! I would like for you guys to reflect on your day so far. Can you remember how many times you smiled? If you take time to notice people when you’re walking around, you will see that not many people have a smile on content look on their faces. Everyone seems to be in their own worlds, stressing or worrying about something. Smiling has been proven to reduce stress, pain, and blood pressure. Start your day with a smile. When you see a random person, flash them a smile. Everyone is going through something and your smile could brighten their day in ways you may not understand. Eventually, you’ll start seeing more people smiling at you randomly. There’s a saying: “When you smile at the universe, it smiles back.” We are all here together and nobody should feel alone in this world. Smile at nothing, smile at everything. Just smile, and you will notice how your days become a little brighter. 😊

Day 7: Help everybody!

Welcome back, beautiful people! The word of the day is HELP. Almost everybody has at least one thing they are constantly stressed or worried about. People think that there is no help for them and that there is absolutely no one in their corner. Many people fall into anxiety and depression because of this. Life can be very stressful. No one thought life was going to be as hard as it is, but we are all here for a reason. God would not give us a life that He did not think we were able to overcome all obstacles in. But sometimes, we do need a little push to get to where we need to be. Nobody should ever give up because there is light at the end of the tunnel. If there is someone that you know (a friend, family member, neighbor, etc.) that looks like they need help with something, ask them what you can do to help. Ask them what you can do to ease their pain. Nine times out of ten, people are afraid of asking for help because they are worried about what people would think. In reality though, EVERYBODY needs help. If you are one that needs help yourself, don’t worry about not receiving help if you’re giving help. If you bring light to someone’s life, that light will make its way back to you. It WILL be reciprocated. There’s a saying that says, “What you put out, you get back. Help at least one person a day and watch how the lives of many as well as yours will change for the better. 😊

Day 8: Affirmations!

Hello, beautiful people! The power of the tongue is very powerful, much more powerful than one could think. There are things that we say that carry negative connotations like gossiping and complaining about how a situation would never change. Good news is that there are things that we can say that holds positive connotations. Speaking highly of someone or speaking on how situations are getting better are two examples. When we speak, there is a power that goes out to the universe. It’s heard and brought right back to you. Many people wonder why their lives are going bad when they are constantly speaking badly of themselves or others. Start by speaking positive words. Every morning when you wake up, begin by saying, “Today will be a good day filled with happiness”. Your perception will change to a positive one. You will begin to notice the little things that bring you joy and laughter. You can create your own affirmations, but I will provide you with five of my favorites. Hope you enjoy them just as much as I do!

1.I will overcome all obstacles thrown my way because I am strong.
2.I will find the good in every given situation.
3.Everything is working out FOR me, not AGAINST me.
4.I will forgive those who caused me harm and most importantly, I will forgive myself.
5.I will treat others/be treated with kindness.

Day 9: Make Room for Better!

Welcome back, beautiful people! We tend to hold onto things that don’t serve any purpose like old friendships, old relationships, and jobs. Holding onto things that are no longer valuable results in feeling incomplete. We have to learn to make room for greater and bigger things. There just isn’t enough space for positivity and negativity, so we must get rid of the bad, so positivity can show you just how good it can be. If it doesn’t feel good, why continue to hold onto the things that make us feel bad? Why stay in a relationship, romantic or platonic, if it doesn’t feel right? Why stay at a job that has so many red flags? Trust how you feel. If you know deep down something isn’t right, then something just isn’t right. It’s as simple as ABC, 123. No need to stress yourself out in trying to fix what is broken. No need for unnecessary stress. Just simply let whatever that is holding you back go. It’s okay to step into the unknown. It’s okay to take a leap of faith. Before we can be blessed with the many things we all long for, we got to make room for the things we are asking God for. If it doesn’t resonate with your life, let it go. Positivity will begin to shower your life so much that it will begin to feel overwhelming. Let it flow and you will feel very different. 😊
